Special Envoy for Afghan Women, Girls, and Human Rights Rina Amiri can travel to Indonesia, Switzerland, plus Turkey December 5-16. Specific Envoy Amiri will participate in the International Conference with regard to Afghan Women’s Education co-hosted by the Governments of Indonesia and Qatar to support Afghan women and girls’ access to education. Special Envoy Amiri will even consult with bilateral and multilateral partners, UN representatives, and Afghans, including women and civil society leaders, regarding the present human rights situation in Afghanistan.
