They affirmed their particular intention to deepen their own exchanges on their respective engagement with the Pacific Island countries (PICs), stressing their shared commitment to directing support towards priorities owned plus driven by their PICs partners. The Secretary General and Deputy Secretary noted India’s important regional and worldwide role and looked forward to partnering with India to address pushing international challenges as it presumes the G20 Presidency designed for 2023.
