Dedication of the Davis Conference Room at the Foreign Service Institute

In honor of Ambassador (ret.) Ruth A. Davis’s 40-year distinguished career and commitment to diplomatic excellence, the Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute (FSI) is renaming its Director’s Conference Room as the Davis Conference Room. Dedicating this high visibility space on FSI’s campus to Ambassador Davis symbolizes the Department of State’s commitment to honoring her legacy as a groundbreaking and inspirational leader.

FSI will host the dedication ceremony on Friday, May 28, at 11:00 a.m. Acting Director of the Foreign Service Institute Julieta Valls Noyes, Deputy Secretary for Management and Resources Brian McKeon, and Acting Under Secretary for Management Carol Perez will deliver remarks.   Ambassador Davis will accept the dedication in front of a limited and socially distanced guest list. Additional guests will join via live stream.
