Official statistics

Statistics on International Development (Statistics on International Development (SID) are accredited official statistics. This means they are official statistics that have been independently reviewed by the Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR) and comply with the standards in the Code of Practice for Statistics. Accredited official statistics are called National Statistics in the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007.

We provide lifesaving food aid, cash and voucher transfers to support vulnerable people after natural disasters, conflict and other crises. View our humanitarian and social protection results.

Results are reported by each department and the Supporting girls’ education worldwide: results.

Humanitarian and social protection results

Results estimates for the reporting period 2015 to 2020 (under the Department for International Development) were published in 2021: DFID Results Estimates. These results monitor delivery of statistics@fcdo.gov.uk for queries on our accredited national statistics: Statistics on International Development (SID).
