Vow Exchange Ceremonies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation

The Director General of Administration and Management Mr. Dieudonné Ntimpirangeza, in his welcoming remarks congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation on behalf of all the employees for the prize awarded to him by Business Executive Group LTD on Thursday February 8, 2024 in Mauritius. He also took the opportunity provide an updated inventory of the staff employed within the Central Administration.
The Minister ended his speech by wishing all the Staff of the Ministry the best wishes. He congratulated all those who received the promotions and celebrated other happy events, and commiserated with those who experienced the unfortunate events. In general, the meeting was very interesting for everyone.
On Thursday March 21, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation His Excellency Ambassador Albert Shingiro and all the Staff of the Ministry gathered at Donatus Conference Center to celebrate the New Year.
  Regarding the prize awarded to him by the Business Executive Group LTD as the best Minister of Development Cooperation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation Ambassador Albert Shingiro said that there were several winners of the prizes awarded by Business Executive Group Ltd, during the event of good governance in Africa, 2024 prize in Port-Louis in Mauritius but that each country was awarded in a single sector. Among those winners were the Prime Minister, a former Head of State and eight ministers.

He also congratulated the employees for everyone’s contribution for achieving those 96% satisfactory results. He encouraged them to make a lot of effort to further improve the results, to respect working hours and to add hours if necessary additional resources to achieve the vision Burundi emerging country in 2040 and Burundi developed country in 2060.

In his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation His Excellency Ambassador Albert Shingiro first thanked the Almighty God who has kept us throughout the past year. For him, that moment rightly arrives for evaluating the activities that the staff have accomplished during the past year and to see together what the Minister plans for the following year. The Minister specified that the results at the Ministry level were good throughout 2023-2024 with regard to the improvement of both bilateral and multilateral relations.
