Cuban President Diaz-Canel Is In Barbados

President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived in Barbados, today, at 1: 35 g. m.   for an official two-day visit. The Cuban leader, associated with his wife, Lis Cuesta Peraza, was afforded the 63-contingent Guard-of-Honour welcome with the Barbados Coast Guard, a 21-gun salute, and adopting the playing of both country’s anthems, he inspected front side line of the Guard of Honour. Each events will commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations among Barbados and Cuba, in addition to CARICOM-Cuba relations, which were established on December 8, 1972, by four CARICOM Member States, namely Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. Upon his arrival on the Grantley Adams International Airport, Leader Díaz-Canel was welcomed by Prime Minister, Mia Amor Mottley; Minister of International Affairs and Foreign Industry, Kerrie Symmonds, and Government’s chaperone for the official go to, Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, Davidson Ishmael.
