(Stock Photo)The meeting follows the recent signing of the “Formation Agreement for the Strategic Dialogue and Cooperation Platform between the Government of the Republic of Suriname and the Government of Barbados”.Barbados and Suriname are continuing talks to finalize an agricultural agreement.The two Ministers, while discussing the agriculture and fisheries component of the agreement, also examined areas of cooperation among farmers, the production of crops and transportation logistics. They are expected to revisit it soon, and develop a new plan for its execution.
