Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Baku to attend the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement.
On 23 October 2019, Minister Çavuşoğlu attended the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement’s Ministerial Committee on Palestine.
At the meeting, Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that the entire international community should recognize the State of Palestine for lasting peace.
Minister Çavuşoğlu also stated that we would continue to defend the Palestinian cause in every platform.
On 24 October 2019, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Foreign Minister Javad Zarif of Iran.
On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Foreign Minister Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah of Malaysia.
Minister Çavuşoğlu exchanged views with his Malaysian counterpart on cooperation projects including establishing a joint tv channel between Turkey, Malaysia and Pakistan.
Later, Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza of Venezuela.
On 25 October 2019, Minister Çavuşoğlu attended the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu participated also in the opening ceremony of Sumgayit Branch of Ziraat Bankası.
Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that the efficient investment environment and the banking sector were developing rapidly in Azerbaijan.
