On 10 December 2021, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu attended online the 4th Ordinary Meeting of the General Assembly of the World Union of Ahiska Turks. Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that it was very important for the Ahiska Turks to preserve their identity, language, faith and culture in their host countries as well as to ensure the unity and solidarity among the Ahiska Turks living in different countries of the world. Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that we had always stood by the Ahiska Turks and would continue to do so.
On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu received Sofiane Mimouni, the newly appointed Ambassador of Algeria, and wished him success during his tenure.
