Since March, this country has benefited from several donations of PPE and other medical equipment from various government bodies in China as well as the private sector. The donated items have been put to use in our dedicated health care system put in place to address COVID-19 patients, and has ultimately contributed positively to the mitigation of the spread of the virus.
Trinidad and Tobago and China have provided support to each other in the fight against the spread of the pandemic based on our longstanding relations, shared values, mutual respect and cooperation and we look forward to continued cooperation and collaboration.
