His Excellency Tim Stew, High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to the Republic of Trinidad
and Tobago, paid a Courtesy Call on Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign
and CARICOM Affairs on Friday 6th November, 2015.
During the meeting, the discussions focused on matters of mutual interest to both countries such as
strengthening links with CARICOM, ongoing bilateral cooperation and collaboration and an
increase in the number of scholarships offered by the United Kingdom Government, from 2016.
Other important issues raised included the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government
Meeting (CHOGM), and the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP 21) to the United Nations
Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) which will be held from November 27-29,
2015, in Malta, and from November 30 to December 11, 2015 in Paris, respectively
