Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Development, Sim Ann is visiting Greece from 16 to 17 March 2022, where she met Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy Ioannis Plakiotakis, Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis, and Secretary General for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Smyrlis. SMS Sim reaffirmed the warm ties between Singapore and Greece, including our good cooperation in the maritime sector and at international fora. Both sides agreed to explore collaboration in areas such as digital cooperation, green economy and food security, as well as exchanged views on the latest global and regional developments including the situation in Ukraine. SMS Sim also engaged with the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) to explore enhancing bilateral business ties.
SMS Sim will depart Athens for Singapore on 17 March 2022.
