To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, the joint logo was launched at an official ceremony held at Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 22 February, 2022.
Ambassador Sameeh Essa Johar Hayat, Assistant Foreign Minister (AFM) for Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait along with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Malik Muhammad Farooq unveiled the Joint Logo. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kuwait as well as Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait attended the ceremony.
The AFM felicitated the government and people of Pakistan on the occasion and expressed his earnest desire to strengthening of the binding ties between Kuwait and Pakistan in the coming years. Ambassador Farooq emphasized on the historic bonds between the peoples of the two brotherly countries and reaffirmed his resolve to further deepen the political and economic relations.
In addition to unveiling the Joint Logo, Ambassador Farooq also conveyed greetings to the leadership, the Government and the people of Kuwait on the auspicious occasion of 62nd National Day and 32nd Liberation Day of Kuwait.
On the special occasion of the 60th anniversary, both capitals have planned a series of events and programs to commemorate this historic milestone in a befitting manner.
