To commemorate the 83rd, Pakistan Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Senegal. Officers and staff of the Embassy as well as members of the Pakistani community joined with their families.
2. The proceedings started with recitation from the holy Quran and the reading of the messages of the President and the Prime Minister for this occasion. Ambassador Saima Sayed welcomed the Pakistani community to the embassy and expressed desire to remain connected with them and to work together to explore opportunities to showcase Pakistan in Senegal and other countries in West Africa.
3. Ambassador Saima Sayed raised the flag as the attendees joined in the rendition of the national anthem. The Ceremony ended with a vote of thanks by the Embassy.
