60 Years of Pakistan-EU Relations — Photographic Exhibition on Pakistan held in Brussels

The Acting Foreign Secretary underlined the enormous potential for further expanding Pakistan-EU ties under the Strategic Engagement Plan. He expressed Pakistan’s readiness to advance this productive and constructive partnership, specially in areas of science and technology as these are the most relevant sectors for attainment of socio-economic development.
The photo exhibit that showcases Pakistan’s rich history, heritage, architecture, travel and leisure, sports, as well as religious, ethnic and culinary diversity was inaugurated by the Acting International Secretary Jauhar Saleem, that is visiting Brussels to direct the 8th Round of Pak EU Political Conversation. The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from the European institutions, diplomats, intelligentsia and media persons.
In commemoration from the 60th anniversary of the institution of diplomatic relations among Pakistan and European Union, the photographic exhibition was launched last evening in Brussles in a event organized by the Pakistan Mission to the European Union within collaboration with European External Action Service (EEAS).

In his remarks for the occasion, the Acting Foreign Secretary Jauhar Saleem mentioned the positive trajectory in bilateral relations between Pakistan as well as the EU and the growing partnership in political, economic and trade domains. He stressed that Pakistan-EU relationship was obviously a befitting representation of the value of working together on global challenges — such as climate change, food security and sustainability, which required a multilateral and interdisciplinary approach.
