October 1 this year marks the 72nd founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
We extend our warm congratulations to the fraternal Chinese people who are greeting their national day in a meaningful way.
The founding of the PRC constitutes a turning point in bringing about fundamental changes in the history of China and the life of the Chinese people.
For over 70 years since the founding of the PRC, the Chinese people have made great progress and changes in all fields of social life including politics, economy and culture under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), upholding the banner of socialism, thus having opened up a new era of prosperity on the vast Chinese territory.
Especially after the 18th Congress of the CPC, the Chinese people achieved remarkable successes in their efforts for safeguarding the social stability and sovereignty of the country and ensuring the sustainable development of the economy by frustrating all kinds of challenges of the hostile forces under the leadership of the CPC with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core.
On July 1, Comrade Xi Jinping announced at the celebrating meeting held on the occasion of the 100th founding anniversary of the CPC that China splendidly achieved the first centenary goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects and completely lifting poverty and that China starts a historic journey for achieving the second centenary goal to comprehensively build a modern socialist state under the uplifted banner of the socialist idea with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
Although the hostile forces are intensifying the level of criticism and pressure in an attempt to undermine the social stability and hamper the development of China, they cannot block the way ahead of the Chinese people advancing along the road of socialism chosen by themselves with their trust in the CPC.
We are pleased, as our own, with all the successes attained by the Chinese people in the socialist construction.
Today, the DPRK-PRC friendship, at the center of which is socialism – a shared ideal of the peoples of the two countries – is steadily expanded and developed under the direct guidance of the supreme leaders of the two countries.
We will, as ever, actively contribute to enriching the traditional DPRK-PRC friendly relations by promoting dynamic exchanges and cooperation between the civil organizations of the two countries as required by the new era, upholding the noble intentions of the supreme leaders of the two countries.
We sincerely wish the fraternal Chinese people new, greater successes in their efforts for comprehensively building a modern socialist state firmly united around the CPC.
