Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, received a message of congratulations from Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, on August 17.
The message reads as follows:
Your Excellency,
It is my distinct honor, on behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Namibia, to extend to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, our sincere congratulations on the 73rd anniversary of your National Day, on September 9, 2021.
The Republic of Namibia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea share a longstanding friendship built on mutual respect and solidarity.
On this joyous occasion, Namibia reaffirms its commitment towards the continued enhancement of our bilateral relations.
I also wish to take this opportunity to wish Your Excellency continued good health, strength and wisdom.
