Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of congratulations from Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, on September 7.
The message reads as follows:
On the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of the DPRK, September 9, 2021 which is of great historic and special significance to all the Korean people, I extend the warmest congratulations to Your Excellency and the Korean people, on behalf of the government and the people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and on my own behalf.
I take this opportunity to sincerely wish Your Excellency happiness and your people prosperity, and affirm the firm will of the government of Equatorial Guinea to consolidate and develop the equally beneficial relations of friendship and cooperation between the two governments and the two peoples.
