Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, received a congratulatory message from Bashar Al-Assad, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, on February 11.
The Syrian President in the message extended the sincere and warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un and through him, to the friendly people of the DPRK on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
The message also wished the DPRK greater progress, prosperity and development all the time as desired by the great leaders President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
It affirmed aspiration and will to develop in depth in all fields the historic relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries in the interests of the friendly peoples of the two countries.
It extended warm greetings to Kim Jong Un, wishing him happiness in good health all the time.
