Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, received a message of congratulations from Comrade Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Republic of Cuba, on September 9.
The message reads as follows:
Respected Comrade,
On behalf of the Cuban government and people, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of the national day of the DPRK.
In 2021, the two countries commemorated the 61st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations which are based on friendship provided by President Kim Il Sung and Supreme Commander Fidel Castro Ruz.
I affirm that I will strive to boost such bonds of friendship, cooperation and solidarity in the future.
