It is now 73 years since the founding of our glorious motherland – Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Still vivid is the memory of that day, as if it was yesterday, when the birth of new Korea was announced in high pride to the whole world along with the vibrant melody of “Song of Proclamation of the People’s Republic.”
During the past 73 years since our blue-and-red-color national flag first fluttered high in the sky, our country, which had once been eclipsed on the world map, has been transformed from a weak colony into a unique powerful socialist country of Juche which is prestigious by independence, resilient by self-reliance and strong by self-defensive capabilities.
Dignity and honor of a state are achieved by the greatness of its leader.
The glorious and victorious history of the DPRK is marked by the everlasting feats of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, and the invincible might and high prestige of our Republic are solely associated with the august names of great sun.
So much so that our people are heroically struggling for the prosperity of their motherland even at the sacrifice of their lives, keeping the invariable faith in mind that there would be neither true life nor happiness apart from the socialist country of Juche, the greatest patriotic heritage bequeathed by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il through their life-long dedication.
The DPRK has now soared high as a strategic state acknowledged by the world and entered a new era driven by our-state-first principle, as we have in high esteem respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who personifies the ideologies, leadership and personal traits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
The reality speaks to the valuable truth that only when people have great leader in high esteem, can their country be strong and their nation be prosperous and can they lead worthwhile life.
The DPRK, which has won victory after victory under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, will continue to record only victory and glory because we hold respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, an outstanding great leader, at the forefront of our revolution.
