Hypocritical Chanting of Threats by Gangster

The Defense Ministry of Britain announced on September 26 that its Royal Navy frigate “Richmond” had “detected” the ships in the East China Sea that violated the United Nations Security Council “sanctions resolutions” in respect of the DPRK and that it had handed over these “evidences” to the United Nations.

In the same context, the Defense Minister of Britain said that the “wild ambition” of the DPRK to possess weapons of mass destruction is destabilizing the regional situation and presenting a menace to the world, and that the operation of its frigate in the Indo-Pacific region would serve to frustrate the “wild ambition” of the DPRK.

It is not a new move on the part of Britain when considering the fact that Britain has been servile to the U.S. to frequently find fault with us. However, as this move is tantamount to a guilty party filing a suit first, this cannot be overlooked.

The British move to dispatch its aircraft carrier “Queen Elizabeth” and other warships to the Asian waters far away from Europe and to rampage through the waters is stepping out of line, and thus fueling an increased tension in the region and prompting high vigilance and strong reaction from the countries around the waters.

In June, warship “Defender” intruded into other country’s territorial waters and received warning shots. And this time, “Richmond” has been fatally driven away from the East China Sea.

The international society has recently witnessed the British announcement early this year of its plan to increase the number of its nuclear warheads from present 180 to 260, and its agreement with the U.S. to transfer sensitive cutting-edge nuclear technology to Australia. It is the universal comment in this regard that it is Britain that is certainly a threat to the world peace and the regional stability.

To put all these facts together, it is clear that Britain is accusing us under the pretext of “instability in the regional situation” and “threat to the world” just in order to cover up its despicable nature.

Notwithstanding the unconditional siding with the American foreign policy in spite of all the criticism and “sacrifice” Britain is subject to, what it gets from the U.S. is nothing but the cold shoulder, being told by the U.S. at the negotiation for bilateral free trade agreement that Britain “should wait for its turn.”

That is why even the NATO allies deride Britain as “servant of the U.S.” and “third wheel” of the trilateral security partnership.

Britain will definitely be set to pay the price if it runs amuck blindly as it is doing now.
