Human Rights Violations and Aggression Should Never Be Tolerated

Voices of accusing and denouncing the United States and the Western countries were heard during the 48th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council recently held in Geneva.

A number of countries including China, Cuba, Venezuela, Belarus, Iran, and Syria unanimously condemned the U.S. and the West for overtly interfering in the internal affairs of sovereign states while avoiding the reflection on their own dismal situation of human rights violations.

These countries made clear that the attempts by the U.S. and the West to label the countries of their dislike as human rights violators by fabricating and distributing fake information about them, is an act of interference in the internal affairs aimed at undermining the social stability and blocking the development of those countries.

And they revealed that the U.S. and the West are persistently refusing an open and candid dialogue about their cruel situation of grave human rights violations committed at home and abroad.

Noting that the United Nations Human Rights Council would not dare to utter a word of denunciation of the U.S. and the West for their apparent acts of infringement upon human rights, threat and blackmail, and invasion against the sovereign states – a universal acknowledgement, they demanded that the practices of adopting resolutions dealing with human rights situations of specific countries on a case-by-case basis in contravention of the principles of universality, objectivity and non-selectivity should not be tolerated.

The U.S. and the West are stereotypically naming and blaming only certain countries in an importunate way in the international human rights arena, and impudently keeping absolute silence about the heinous human rights violations committed by themselves and their allies in all parts of the world.

This is an expression of their evil intention to dilute the poignant focus and complaints directed at them and to legitimize their overt interference in and military invasion of other countries.

Negative and abnormal phenomena are now widespread in the international human rights arena where truth does not work and high-handedness rather gains upper hand.

The international society should resolutely fight, never admitting of any connivance, against human rights violations, interference in internal affairs, and aggressive acts incessantly committed at home and abroad by the U.S. and the West, and should definitely bring the most heinous human rights criminals to justice.
