That is why the famous piano variation “Twinkle, twinkle, little star” and the song “Lullaby”, which are still well-known among the world children, deal with the dream world of children referring to stars.
Nowhere in the world can be found such happy children like ours who are nurturing their beautiful dreams with stars, growing up on this land.
9 years ago, on the meaningful founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, respected Comrade General Secretary read a letter written by a 5-year-old boy Ho Jun Hyok. And he wrote on it his autographic words full of trust in each letter carrying warm affections to make the sweet dream cherished in the boy’s heart come true.
Future of a child that will fulfill his dreams with five red stars…
The lucky children with a blessed life are none other than our children who give shape to their young dreams boasting about the red stars which carry the blessing of their benevolent father and bring their talents and hopes into full blossom looking up to the five-point star emblazoned on the national flag.
Precious hopes and aspirations for the future are filled in the children’s dreams.
Children want to see the red star put on their chests in childhood be turned into the star of the Medal of Hero and the star on the shoulder strap of a gallant army general. They want to see the five-point star on the national flag fly high all over the world by becoming famous musicians and sportspeople. Such dreams of our children are getting bigger every day.
But what is the world like today?
Over 170 years have passed since Andersen, “father of fairy tales” wrote a famous work “The Little Match Girl”. But, until today, the humble dreams and hopes of children have not been realized as yet.
Children suffer from slave labour for more than 12 hours a day without any ideal and ambition, being forsaken by their parents in the capitalist society where the dreams and hopes of children are nothing but fairy tales, and their future is becoming more and more hopeless in a gloomy and depressive world.
It is only under the love of the true father who keeps the precious dreams of his beloved children that we can see the dreams of many children on this land get bigger every day, together with the sparkling stars in the sky and with the prosperous socialist country…
