DPRK Ambassador Presents Credentials to Zimbabwean President

Jong Song Il, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, presented credentials to the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe on May 6.

The Ambassador courteously conveyed the warm greetings addressed from Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, to H.E. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

The President expressed deep gratitude for this message and asked the Ambassador to convey his most heartfelt greetings of best wishes to Kim Jong Un.

Noting that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il are illustrious leaders and outstanding statesmen who rendered sincere assistance to Zimbabwe’s independence and construction of new society, the Zimbabwean President expressed his hope that the long-standing and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger in the political, economic and other fields.

He wished the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Korean people greater success in building a powerful socialist country under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of Kim Jong Un.
