The World Press Photo Special Exhibition ‘Best of Three 2018-2020′ showcases the best award-winning photography from the annual World Press Photo contests in the last three years, and is on display in Ho Chi Minh City for the first time.
In the evening of 7th April 2021, this exhibition was officially opened by Dr. Carel Richter, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of local authorities. The prestigious exhibition celebrates the good relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and the Netherlands.
Each year, the prize-winning pictures are presented in an exhibition touring to around 100 cities in about 45 countries over the course of the year and visited by more than 4 million people worldwide. This time, the World Press Photo special exhibition ‘Best of Three 2018-2020′ is open to public from 7th – 16th April 2021 at Le Van Tam Park, Hai Ba Trung street, District 1. This exhibition presents 158 World Press Photo winning images from 2018 to 2020. They are immersive and inspiring stories focusing on topics like human rights, climate change and politics. This pretigious exhibition is brought to Ho Chi Minh City for the first time by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with support of the People’s Committee of the City.
