Dutch Embassy Indonesia Consular Services Updates

MVV visa applications

The summer period is peak season at the consular section. Many students are eager to embark on a new adventure and commence the school year at the university of their choice in the Netherlands. This automatically results in many MVV applications. Despite the pandemic and the strict PPKM regulations we have tried to help as many students to get their visa on time.

If you do not have your visa yet, you are welcome to schedule your appointment via www.bit.ly/appointmentnl. For urgent matters please contact jak-ca@minbuza.nl we will try to find a solution for you to get your MVV visa on time.

Indonesia categorized as a very high risk area

Indonesia has recently been categorized as a very high risk area.  Therefore conditions in regards to mandatory quarantine, proof of test and vaccination have changed.

Check your trip in 2 minutes and know what you need to prepare before you travel (back) to the Netherlands with the Destination | Quarantine Travelcheck | Rijksoverheid.nl

The new qualification also effects traveling from the Netherlands to Indonesia and the travel advice for Indonesia has been updated. Reisadvies Indonesië | Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken | Indonesië | Nederlandwereldwijd.nl | Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken

Consular services

Despite the ongoing COVID situation and the PPKM regulations, the consular services of the embassy are still maintained. In addition to MVV applications (study, highly skilled migrant and official partners of the Dutch), passport applications can be submitted, civic integration exams can be taken, statements (by post) and legalizations can be requested. All counter transactions at the embassy are by appointment.

Furthermore, VFS handles very limited visa applications (seafarers, Chavez Vilchez and official partners of the Dutch).

For any questions and advice, please send an email to jak-ca@minbuza.nl.

Stay healthy and safe!
