The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ankhbayar Nyamdorj met the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety Mr. Jean Todt on 27 March 2024.Special Envoy Mr. Jean Todt emphasized the need to improve Mongolia’s road safety situation and noted that he believed that the UN Global Road Safety Campaign would be an important impetus in this direction.Special Envoy Mr. Jean Todt is visiting Mongolia on 27-30 March, and during his visit he will participate in the round table meeting to launch the UN Global Road Safety Campaign, as well as meetings with the heads of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Health and the Ulaanbaatar city.State Secretary Mr. Ankhbayar Nyamdorj expressed gratitude to the Special Envoy for launching the UN Global Road Safety Campaign in Mongolia and improving road users’ awareness about road safety and contributing to ensuring road safety.
