AMBASSADOR OF MONGOLIA TO IRELAND ENKHSUKH BATTUMUR PRESENTED HIS CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF IRELAND

His Excellency Mr. Enkhsukh Battumur, Ambassador of Mongolia to Ireland presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Michael D. Higgins, President of Ireland on March 23, 2023.President Michael D. Higgins expressed his satisfaction with the current development of bilateral relations between the two countries in all areas. Two sides emphasized that the number of Mongolians residing in Ireland has been increasing in recent years and agreed to promote further people-to-people ties.Ambassador B. Enkhsukh held a meeting with Ms. Olivia Leslie, Regional Director for Asia Pacific at the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ireland and discussed issues related to intensifying bilateral cooperation in agriculture, implementing high-level visits, organising a consultative meeting between the two Foreign Ministries, cooperating within the international organisations as well as supporting Mongolian community in Ireland. This year marks the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Ireland.Ambassador B.Enkhsukh conveyed greetings from H.E. Mr. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of Mongolia to H.E. Mr. Michael D. Higgins and expressed his willingness to expand the bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Ireland in various fields including  agriculture, culture and education.
