A ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION ON THE “OSCE HCNM’S RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE EFFECTIVE PARTICIPATION OF NATIONAL MINORITIES IN SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LIFE” WAS ORGANIZED – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia

The delegation headed by the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM) Mr. Kairat Abdrakhmanov is paying a visit to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 1 to 4 April, 2024.HCNM gets involved in a situation if, in his judgement, there are tensions involving national minorities which could develop into a conflict. Much of the day-to-day work is in identifying and addressing causes of ethnic tensions and conflicts.During the visit, a Roundtable discussion on the “OSCE HCNM’s Recommendations on the Effective Participation of National Minorities in Social and Economic Life” was organized on 2 April, 2024.
