Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration pays a visit to Bucharest at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Bogdan Aurescu

September 6, 2021, Chișinău – During September 6 – 7, the head of Moldovan diplomacy Nicu Popescu will pay a visit to Bucharest. The official’s program includes bilateral consultations with Romanian counterpart Bogdan Aurescu, the reception at the Cotroceni Palace by the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis and the participation as a special guest at the Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy, 2021 edition.

On September 7 at 10:30, Foreign Ministers Nicu Popescu and Bogdan Aurescu will hold a press conference, which can be watched live on the Facebook pages of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania.

Also, Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu will deliver a speech at the Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy, together with Romanian counterpart Bogdan Aurescu and Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio in the panel “Resilience during the pandemic. Strengthening cooperation between partners”. The intervention of the Minister of Foreign Affairs will be able to be watched live from 15:00.
