Operating visit of H. L. H. the Grand Duke and Franz Fayot in order to Laos – third and fourth day

H. the particular Grand Duke and Franz Fayot visited the Regal Palace of Luang Prabang, now transformed into a museum, the Wat Xieng Thong, a Laotian Buddhist brow dating back to 1560, along with the Reception Centre of the Nationwide Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Programme. It should be noted that The duchy of luxembourg has been financially supporting UXO clearance in Laos given that 1999, with a contribution of approximately 4 million euros, and has recently granted an additional support of 1 million euros for the years 2022-2024. As part of the A sign Cooperation Programme V (2023-2027), it is also planned to increase tourism and hotel industry development projects in Luang Prabang.
