In her closing remarks, Minister Hoebes noted that, the Joint Committee “shared learned experiences to enrich our collective efforts to do better for our people. In the same way our generation hunger for political emancipation, the current generation hungers for economic emancipation.”
Minister Johnson Smith shared that practical next steps and concluding MoUs were agreed on around the following sectors: education, children and youth, sport, entertainment & the creative industries; agriculture, mining, energy, logistics, infrastructural & urban development, tourism, health, justice, Diaspora and ocean & maritime cooperation.
