The series captured the stories of Jamaicans within the city, as part of a special collaboration project between Consul General Wilson and Emmy Award winning Reporter, Dan Bowens.

The Award was won by Fox 5 in October 2022, for its creation entitled “Caribbean in the City”, with a special focus on Jamaicans in New York.
