Union Minister Shripad Naik inaugurates road constructed through MPLADS at Old Goa

Goa, 28 March 2022

Shripad Naik, Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping, Waterways and Ministry of Tourism inaugurated the road at Sunshine Worldwide School to Nanizmath road at Kadamba Plateau, Ella, Old Goa today.

The work of the construction of road, Drainage and Retaining wall done under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme. The cost of the project is Rs 21 Lakhs.

The government funds are meant for the welfare of the people, so use of the funds appropriately is very important, said Shripad Naik. As a member of parliament for three terms, completed 1,000 developmental projects, informed Shri Naik. Due to Covid-19 pandemic there were limitations for the last two years, but now we are again starting the work of some pending projects under the MPLADS, added the Union Minister.

The newly constructed road is useful for the schools in the area and is convenient for people to visit Nanizmath.
