Today, the Nordic Ministers of Defence, which includes Thórdís Kolbrún Reykfjörð Gylfadóttir, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development Assistance of Iceland, issued the next statement: The ministers reaffirm their support to Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its right to choose its own foreign and protection policy, free from outside interference. The Nordic countries allowed dialogue on European protection issues in relevant fora, including the EU, NATO, OSCE and the UN. The Nordic countries welcome the Usa States’ efforts in appealing Russia in resolving the current crisis.
