On 23 November 2020, the Guyana High Commission in London received ten paintings from the Patrick Barrington collection of paintings on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport. The paintings were donated by Mr. Kenneth Barrington, brother of Mr. Patrick Barrington.
Mr. Patrick Barrington, a renowned Guyanese painter who lived in London, died earlier this year at age 88.
