The Honourable Hugh Hilton Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today, met with His Excellency Juan Manuel Pino Vasquez, Ambassador of Chile to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana.
The Foreign Minister and Ambassador discussed areas of mutual interest, including multilateral issues relating to Guyana and Chile. The officials reaffirmed commitment towards advancing relations between the Guyana and Chile.
Guyana and Chile established diplomatic relations on July 22, 1971.
