Deputy Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Greece Mr. Kostas Fragkogiannis and Turkey Mr. Sedat Önal held today, Monday February 21, 2022, in Athens, their third meeting on the Positive Agenda initiative, promoting bilateral dialogue on the economic and trade sectors.
The two sides expressed satisfaction about the progress made so far on specific items of the Positive Agenda, namely the launch of negotiations for an MoU between Enterprise Greece and Invest in Turkey, the mutual recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates, the works of the Joint Commission on Tourism as well as the reactivation of the Joint Economic Commission
The agenda of the meeting, also included trade and business relations, cooperation in the transport and telecommunications sectors, as well as enhanced cooperation in dealing with environmental challenges.
