The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely following the developments regarding the issue of the illegal intrusion of members of the settler organization Ateret Kohanim in the Little Petra Hotel, which is located at the entrance of the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem and is owned by the Patriarchate of Jerusalem. We express our particular concern over this development.
In connection with this issue, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias contacted his Israeli counterpart, Yair Lapid, from whom he requested that the issue be resolved as soon as possible.
