On Friday, 26 March, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias delivered a welcome speech at an anniversary event hosted by the Municipality of Aegina to present the historical photo-book “Kapodistrias’ Aegina” at the Governor’s House in Aegina.
In this context, the Minister praised the contribution and work of Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first Governor of Greece, in gaining the recognition of Greece’s Independence and in shaping the Greek state, of which Aegina was the first capital. The historical photo-book that was presented highlights and recalls the great legacy of this era.
