Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will participate tomorrow, Friday, March 4, 2022, in the extraordinary Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs that will take place in Brussels, at 10:00 am. The subject of consultations will be the situation following Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Sweden and Finland, Ann Linde and Pekka Haavisto, respectively, as well as the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the EU and Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, are also expected to attend the Meeting.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs will then participate in the extraordinary EU Foreign Affairs Council, which will also take place in Brussels, at 15:40 local time, to discuss the Russian attack on Ukraine.
During the meeting, an informal exchange of views with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, UK Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Liz Truss and Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly is also expected to take place.
