As is well known, Greece, historically, supports the European perspective of the Western Balkans and has always played a very active role in order for this perspective to be realized. We believe that only in this way will there be peace, stability and prosperity in the Balkans.
Aside from that, I will have a bilateral meeting with the German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, during which I will inform her about my visit to Ukraine the day before yesterday, about the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, and we will also touch on various bilateral issues.
It is a great pleasure for me to participate, on behalf of Greece, in the Berlin Process Meeting on the Western Balkans, here in Berlin.
N. DENDIAS: I believe that Ms. Baerbock, during her presence both in Athens, but I have to say also in Ankara, took a very clear position, which is also a solid European position, based on European principles and values. However, she, like all the other EU Ministers, needs to be kept up to date on what is happening in our region and how the situation is evolving.
JOURNALIST: Minister, you will see Ms. Baerbock. What do you expect regarding the latest provocative statements by Turkey? What do you expect from Germany?
