Right after concluding my Balkan tour, I am in the United Arabic Emirates, in Dubai included in the regular contacts with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, H. H. Sheikh Abdullah, as provided regarding in Article 2 of the Agreement I had the honour to sign with the Emirates, which, I recall, features a defense assistance clause. The United Arab Emirates performs a very important role in the region. In addition, it is a non-permanent member of the particular United Nations Security Council. They are going to also host COP28 for the environment next year.
