Meetings and contacts of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias on the European perspective of the Western Balkans (Athens, 13 May 2021)

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will have successive bilateral meetings tomorrow, Thursday 13 May, with the Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, Nikola Dimitrov (at around 13.30) and with the President of the Presidential Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik (at around 17.15), on the occasion of their presence in Athens in order to participate in the Delphi Economic Forum.

Also tomorrow (at around 19.15) there will be a teleconference of the Foreign Ministers of the EU Member States on the European perspective of Albania and Northern Macedonia, co-organized by the Greek Foreign Minister and his Romanian counterpart, Bogdan Aurescu, with the participation of the Foreign Ministers of Albania and North Macedonia, the Commissioner for Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi, as well as the EU Special Envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other regional issues of the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajčák.

Mr. Lajčák, who is in Athens on the occasion of his participation in the Delphi Economic Forum, will participate in the teleconference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, while he will have a separate meeting with Mr. Dendias (at around 20.00).

No statements are expected to be made after the end of the above meetings.
