This visit falls within the framework of the trilateral cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Armenia, following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the three countries last June in Greece, and aims at further strengthening trilateral cooperation on Diaspora issues. During his stay in Armenia, the Deputy Minister will also hold meetings with representatives of the Greek diaspora living there.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andreas Katsaniotis will travel to Armenia from 28 to 30 October 2022 to participate in the “Global Armenian Summit” to be held in Yerevan (October 28 – 31, 2022). During his visit, the Deputy Minister will hold a meeting with his Armenian counterpart, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, in a trilateral format together with the Cypriot Commissioner for Humanitarian issues and Overseas Cypriots, Fotis Fotiou.
