Announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the bus accident in Bucharest transporting Ancient greek citizens from Greece in order to Romania (23. 12. 2022)

According to the Emergency Department from the Romanian Ministry of Inside, twenty-four (24) of the people were taken to local private hospitals for evaluation and possible first-aid treatment.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased and desires a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in constant contact with the particular Greek Embassy in Bucharest and is monitoring the situation carefully.

According to an update from the Greek Charge in Bucharest, a visitor bus accident involving 47 Greek passengers and a Greek driver occurred in the Romanian capital today.
Three (3) of the over are in serious condition.
