Alternative Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis’ statement upon arrival at the EU General Affairs Council (GAC) (Brussels, 13. 12. 2022)

Furthermore, referring to the impending decisions on the energy problems, Mr. Varvitsiotis stated that the proposals tabled by Portugal for institutional interventions, such as the imposition of a price cap on natural gas, are still for the negotiating table because they have the support of 14 additional member states.
