A two (2) day virtual training programme was organised from 5th to 6th October, 2022 for Ghana’s Honorary Consuls in countries of accreditation. The objective of the training programme was to build capacity and performance of the Honorary Consuls in furtherance of the Ministry’s strategic objective of creating a globally competitive Foreign Service. Fifty-four (54) Honorary Consuls in various countries of accreditation participated in the virtual programme.
The Honorary Consuls were taken through various topics that are in line with Government’s development agenda in areas such as trade and investment, economic diversification and value addition, job creation and private sector initiatives, as well as Diaspora engagements.
