The negotiations concerned the officials who process visa for australia applications at the centre. The reasons for the negotiations were production-related. The number of visa applications obtained by Finland has been lowering for a longer period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it has continued in order to decline significantly since the Authorities adopted its resolution limiting tourism from Russia to Finland on 29 Sept 2022.
The Ministry just for Foreign Affairs has came to the conclusion the cooperation negotiations it initiated at the Service Center for Entry Permits within Kouvola in October 2022. As a result, 17 public-service employment relationships will be terminated on a voluntary basis.
